Eastern Gouache, skateboard
I use 2 skateboards as base canvas on this painting. It just a new year greeting to myself. These essence were my experiences durning 2020. Such like there are 3 mantises I raised in the insect box. I also accidentally burnd myself on my right calf. The tell peaches cake are a Taiwanese traditional cake called “壽桃塔” which were used in celebration, gods birthdays, or even in funeral. I like the taste and shape, so I used it as I want to celebrate this year finally comes to the end.
